Start with a comparable package
A bare sauna shell and a package with a heater are different purchases. Our individual product pages list the equipment included with each model. Read that list before comparing prices, then ask for a written quote that identifies the heater, controls, stones, windows and other selected items.
The barrel range is currently listed from $5,495 to $9,495 CAD. Cube starts at $7,995, Luna at $8,495 and Birdhouse at $7,495. These are GCS list prices, not a survey of every Canadian supplier. All are subject to the applicable taxes and the final quoted configuration.
What can change the total?
- Model and layout: larger sizes, a porch or a changeroom can change the room arrangement and price.
- Cedar and finish: select models list knotty or clear red cedar upgrades. Summit lists a full board-and-batten steel siding option at +$1,500.
- Windows and heater options: glazing, controls and other upgrades differ by model.
- Property preparation: a suitable base, electrical work and any other required specialist work must be included in the overall plan.
- Delivery and access: sauna prices include delivery and professional installation within 500 km of Flesherton. Customer pickup saves $500, assembled or crated. Discuss additional distance and any special site requirements in your quote.
Compare quotes line by line
Ask each supplier to separate the sauna package, optional equipment, delivery, installation, site preparation and applicable taxes. Check whether the quoted footprint includes a porch and whether an option reduces the heated room. Request clarification about any work assigned to you or to another contractor.
Budget for ownership
Allow for electricity or firewood and the maintenance described in the sauna and heater manuals. We do not quote a universal monthly energy cost: use depends on the heater, weather, session frequency and local energy prices.
